Welcome to the UNFCCC secretariat digital archives.

The UNFCCC archives manages and preserves the history of the climate change negotiation processes of the Conference of Parties and the institutional memories of the UNFCCC Secretariat dating back to early 1990s. We provide access to this authentic and reliable information to promote a greater understanding about the climate processes, decisions and actions.

The UNFCCC Archives provides access to the historical records in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with the UNFCCC Policy for Records and Archives and the Policy on Information Sensitivity, Classification and Handling. It is aiming to digitize as much of the historical collection as possible and make them available for consultation and research. We offer a sampling of some of the historical collections such as the Convention negotiation text, Kyoto Protocol negotiations and high-level segment statements below.
